I think the seats were made by a company called TRIMTECH in England, and as we know they used quality leather - Bridge of Weir.
How many seat covers does "Robin Hood cars" have? What is their price for all their seat covers?
If those that are interested committed to buy one or two sets, Im sure that the DeLorean Owners Club UK could buy the "large quantity" on behalf of the DML and be helpful in shipping to other countries...
How about it Martin Gutkowski and Chris Parnham?
We could pay the DOC UK in advance both for the seat covers and postage to wherever we all live...
Check into this please, then get back with a price. Im sure that alot of people on this list would be interested in "brand new" seat covers.
Im 99% sure that I want some!!!
Best wishes Stian Birkeland NORWAY
PS! Should this be a success, it will prove that DeLorean owners are a unique bunch of people who together can achieve miracles!

Hello,
My project DeLorean is coming along quite well. I have started to tear
out the passenger side interior, hopefully it will be done by summer.
(still looking for a used right quarter panel)
anyways.......After getting a new battery the other night I attempted to start it and got nothing, just a little clicking from behind the passenger seat. The previous owner had it started a year ago and said the starter was only working some of the time(not engaging etc). do you think it could finally be dead? It doesnt even make the slightest noise. I may have to go buy a new starter for it just to see. The car has all the relay updates. someone said the ground wire could be corroded but I checked it and its fine. Is there any other thing I should do before I go get a new starter? is there a way to check and see if its getting any juice? I would also like to thanks DMC Joe for being so helpful.
I look forward to your responses
Thanks
David, vin#2496

Well, this may sound like bragging, but last night I decided to try the phone number I found on the internet for JZD. I called him up, the phone rang twice, and his daughter (I think) answered. I asked for Mr. DeLorean, and half a minute later I was talking to the creator of the world's greatest car! We talked for several minutes about the new car he is coming out with (it is confirmed) and it seems that there is already a prototype built! I asked about the styling for it:
KR - So what stage are you at now?
JD - We have a prototype built
KR - Who's doing the styling for this car?
JD - Well, we're still working on it
KR - I think you should get Mr. Giugairo to style this one, he did an
excellent job on the DMC-12
JD - He is the best designer out there, ahead of everyone by a mile,
two miles
We went on to talk about the 0-60 times and and the weight of the car. All in all it was the coolest moment of my life!

with all the talk of leather seats, I looked at my Delorean and would consider buying a pair ---grey interior --- or at worst, just the drivers side.
any sellers out there?

I am responsible for that supercharged delorean. My name is Glenn Coulter and I am employed with Glenn & Sons Automotive in Libertyville Illinois.I was asked by one of my delorean customers if we should turbo his D. and I suggested supercharging one, and found no one had done it so we did.It performs very well although we are still in the tuning stages,we did dyno it after installation and found it to produce 138 rear wheel horsepower and 170 FT LBS of torque. What we also found out was that it needed ignition system upgrades and more fuel at the upper rpms(4500 plus). We just completed adding an MSD 6A multiple spark discharge and coil, along with a new wire set. The results were nice and we are now able to pull strong beyond 5000 RPM,s.the system runs a 6 p.s.i powerdyne blower we fabricated all the other brackets, pulleys etc. We hope to redyno the car in the spring. Thank you for your interest. Sincerly, Glenn Coulter

Somtimes after sitting a long while things happen to "stick",this may sound stupid but try hitting (tapping) the starter a few times to "loosen" things up if that does't work check the starter solenoid(the round thing that sits on top of the starter)chances are you will find that is why your starter isn't working.

james, Removing the paint from your stainless steel panels is extremely labor intensive. After the paint is removed the panels will have to be re-brushed. Unless you are certain of the history of the car it may have body filler under the panels.
This job should be done by an auto paint specialty dealer with experience at painting stainless steel.

Any D fans in LA/SF area? Anyone wanna meet up and maybe talk about the car, the man, etc over a beer?
Lemme know.
