Bob,
Sorry to hear of your problems with Nationwide. I too have my insurance with
them and have had no problems. My car is limited to the mileage each year but
they have always been very helpful. I was hit by a driver about three years
ago and Nationwide help speed up the repair process. See the archives for
details, however in a thumbnail the other company ( good hands company) was
the problem, not Nationwide. After reading your post I plan on calling my
agent on Monday to make sure that Nationwide hasn't made this "drop DMC's"
without telling anyone.

well, I thought the buzzing at first was in the front. but now i
listened harder and its in the back. when I am driving in 4th at 45MPH
is fine, but if I went into 5th at 45mph it starts to make a high
buzzing sounds. gaining in pitch as my speed increases. i could be
going 70MPH in 4th and no buzzing, but 70MPH in 5th makes that buzzing.
whats wrong with my 5th gear?? thanks for the help

I don't understand these problems with State Farm. They
have been covering all of my cars - DeLorean and Esprit
included - at very good rates with absolutely no hassles. I
call them up, tell them what I bought, and a quote and policy
is ready by the time I reach the office. They even give me
30 days to get the policy signed. I haven't had any claims
against the specialty cars, but I have made claims against
my daily drivers - hail damage, collisions with deer, and
vandalism (all comprehensive coverages, by the way) with
no problems. I get to pick the repair center and the settlement
check is made out to me. I couldn't ask for a better
situation.

My '81 #5732 had the original horns and they sounded like a bleating
sheep on it's deathbed. I went to Pep Boys and got a replacement set
for only $19.95. They come in a package of two with a single center
post that mounts right in the place of the original. It also has one
terminal to plug in as the original. There were others that a 2
terminal type but I wanted one exactly like the original. The ones I
bought have a red upper body and a silver plastic "grate" over the horn
opening. A little tacky looking but BOY do they sound great!!! So, if
your car horns sound like a duck being choked, drop the $20.00 for a
new set. It took all of 5 minutes to replace.
It also came with a new horn relay. I didn't put it in as the horns
work fine. I was also unsure if it would even work properly. I didn't
want to take the chance. Anyone know if this is worth keeping as a
backup?
